About the Role:
I’ve partnered with a leading company in the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry that’s looking to add an experience Maintenance Technician to their 3rd shift team. This is a hands-on role in a sterile production environment where you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, disassembling, sanitizing, and reassembling equipment to support their sanitation operations. This is a great opportunity to join a team with a wealth of experience, with the potential to cross-train and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sanitation team by troubleshooting and maintaining equipment during 3rd shift.
- Disassemble and sanitize machinery every night, maintaining the highest sterile standards.
- Reassemble equipment and troubleshoot potential issues during reassembly.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, including liens that remain active during 3rd shift.
- Work with conveyor systems, electrical components. and VFDs (without needing electrical certification).
- Utilize your expertise in PLCs to ensure smooth operations and troubleshooting.
Required Expereience:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Food & Beverage Manufacturing maintenance or a related field.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting conveyors, electrical systems, and VFDs.
- Experience working with PLCs and understanding of sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work independently and handle maintenance during night shifts.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a sanitation environment or third-shift maintenance.
- Proactive troubleshooting skills and ability to support ongoing maintenance operations.
- Familiarity with third-shift processes and equipment reassembly.
