Responsibilites:
- Proficient in troubleshooting PLCs.
- Installation of new equipment within the plant.
- Capable of accurately documenting changes, modifications, and installations.
- Effective planning abilities, leveraging knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles to minimize production disruptions.
- Preventative maintenance approach for both electrical and mechanical issues.
- Comprehensive mechanical and electrical expertise in material conveying, water systems, and compressed air systems, including proficiency in PMS and equipment component rebuilding.
- Experienced in setting up extruder barrels and screws.
- Proficient in setting up all equipment for production runs.
- Competent in installing power requirements for equipment modifications and installations.
- Experience working with CMMS programs.
Requirements:
- 5 years electrical ad mechanical experience in maintenance technician role.
- Experience with blending and extrusion equipment.
- Electrical and Mechanical background; 3 phase, 480v power experience.
- Familiarity with PC and PLC equipment.
- Must be able to climb and work at elevated heights.
- Knowledge of 5S and lean principles.
